Samples of three PowerPoint presentations that are designed to guide classes through the EDUQAS analysis of Haydn 104. I take no credit for the analysis which has been written by EDUQAS. Some minor errors in the original analysis have been corrected. The lessons cover structure, melody, use of textures and sonority, as well as harmony & tonality of the complete symphony. Discussion points and short analysis tasks are highlighted in bold to break the discussions up. These presentations require teacher guidance in the classroom but should be a really useful tool to shape your lessons.
