This is a cultural lesson on the National Lottery in Spain including a link to last year's (2015) advert featuring Justino. It contains information on how it works, how the numbers are drawn and a grid to do a similar lottery in class.
I give them all a printed lottery ticket and as the number appears on the whiteboard a number. When all the tickets have been claimed, the pupils call out their number and as you click on the number a prize appears.
The grids contain a euro for which they win a chocolate coin, a small character (x5) for which they win a chocolate character or el gordo (x1) for which they win a chocolate santa.
I have included 5 different grids and the winner of el gordo is in the note section at the bottom.
