Perfect lesson if you are teaching colours in Spanish - a creative, visual resource with culture at the very heart of it.
This includes a poster of Spanish idioms that have colour words in them, then this paired with some English translations of the most common expressions. Then there is a written gap fill task, pupils will read a poem about colours in Spanish and try to fill in the gaps.
This would be suitable for any age group in secondary school and can easily be adapted for older groups.
