A booklet of listening questions for students to complete as they watch Hamilton. The questions are designed to encourage use of GCSE terminology and musical analysis. There are between one and three questions of 1-2 marks each per track focusing on a variety of musical elements. There are a mixutre of multiple choice and more open ended questions.
This is a booklet of questions only - there are no additional answers or explanations. The booklet is designed as prompts for getting students to engage with the show and for discussion.
This booklet could be used as part of a wider scheme of work on musical theatre or in conjunction with teaching the Edexcel set work Defying Gravity. It could also be provided as cover work or remote learning.
You will need a Disney+ subscription to watch the film, or you could use audio only from the soundtrack which is widely available for free on Youtube.

More than a tad disappointed that this is simply a set of questions. No explanations, no answers. For £5 this is not what I am used to purchasing on TES.
