Practice: Questions with imperfect tense

Complete each question with the correct conjugation in the imperfect tense. Then, choose any one question and answer it in a complete sentence.

There are 5 questions for each verb type (-ar, -er, -ir)

Example:

-AR verbs

1. ¿Con quién _______________ tú todos los días? (hablar)

2. ¿Con quién _______________ Marcos cada tarde? (jugar)

3. ¿Qué programa ______________ vosotros cada noche? (mirar)

4. ¿Dónde _____________ Uds generalmente? (caminar)

5. ¿A quién _____________ Elena y José cada sábado? (visitar)

For irregular verbs (ser, ir, ver), there are 3 questions for ser, 3 for ir, and 2 for ver.

Note: Imperfect tense verb endings for -ar, -er, -ir verbs and the conjugations for ser, ir, and ver are included for reference.

Answer key is included on pages 3-4 for the conjugations only, as student answers will vary for their chosen personal questions.
