Designed for Key Stage 3 Music Students, this interactive and fully click-able resource is perfect for helping pupils independently learn how to play chords on the Piano, Guitar and Ukulele as well as learning the notes on the Bass.

Students can have the programme open in front of them and at their own pace, learn how to play 4 different instruments. The Guitar and Ukulele pages have images or finger positions, audio clips to make sure the chords are correct and tablature to help understand the written form and the Piano and Bass pages have highlighted notes for easy learning.

There is also a full functioning and click-able piano keyboard to help teach intervals and complex chords to students, all at their own pace.

Once students have mastered an instrument, there are 2 full functioning and commonly played chord sequences for students to practice play alongside and to test their ability to change chords and to stay in time with a backing track.

This is a perfect resource for anyone teaching Band, Ensemble or Musical Futures schemes of work and it is essential for students learning how to take their first steps into playing chords.

For best results, make this programme accessible to all students on a common drive so they can each have it open on their own computers and work through it independently.

Finally: this resource only works in Full Slide Show Mode so students will need to know how to do this. It also only works in Microsoft PowerPoint.
