Introduction To Drama

This is a scheme of 7 lessons that introduces students to Drama.

Lessons explore the following - Drama Games, 5 C’s of Drama (Key Skills), Teacher in Role, Still Image, Empathy, Group Work, No Verbal Communication, Non Naturalistic performance, Stylised Movement, Scene Creation and Assessment.

Each lesson has detailed information on slide notes to help guide you through the scheme. The teacher in role lesson includes a suggested script to follow when portraying the character.

The final two lessons are assessment based where students will create a scene from a stimulus. This comes with an optional tick sheet and peer feedback sheet.

There is also a homework task included within the scheme, a medium term plan and knowledge organiser.
