PowerPoint with activities which I taught to my year 13 group once we had finished the specification.
It focuses mainly on four key areas:
- History of Israel Palestine (with timeline activity)
- Geography of Israel Palestine (with research activity into 3 main landmarks)
- Politics of Israel Palestine (with interactive map and discussion point of which countries support which side)
- The impact of media and more recently social media in fuelling the Israel Palestine conflict
Homework set after the session which is not on the slides was to create their own Instagram infographic which is actually informative as opposed to the bias material demonstrated on social media (as they learnt throughout the lesson)
