KS3 Spanish - Food and drink / Opinions / Basic conditional

- Ideal for KS3 learners who have a very basic knowledge of food and drink in Spanish, including 'desayuno/como/ceno/bebo' etc.
- Activities are designed to cater towards the new GSCE specification, as tasks encourage learners to use independent language; to recognise cognates and lexical patters; to read for gist and inference, in this case to decipher if a text is positive or negative.
- This two-lesson package includes giving opinions on what you like/dislike eating and drinking, allowing students to progress from simply 'I have eggs for breakfast' to 'I like having eggs for breakfast'.
- Includes animated slides and colour-coded texts to aid learners with low literacy and dyslexia etc.

Linguistic elements covered:
- Lexis for food and drink (specifically breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Lexis for descriptions of food ('delicioso/a', 'sabe bien/mal', 'rico/a' etc.)
- Present tense verbs
- Introduction to the conditional at a very basic level
- Giving opinions (me gusta + second vb. etc.)
- Justifying opinions using 'porque' and 'ya que'
