KS3 Spanish Holidays Where I Stay

Lesson covers: How to talk / write about where one stays on holidays and using comparisons to give reasons why.

Lesson includes: Differentiated objectives, starter (spot the mistakes, adjectival agreement), short assessment based on vocab from lesson 2 on holidays. quick review of AR verbs in present tense (lesson 2 of holidays covered 'viajar' and how AR verbs work),

Activity 1: Reading on theme of holidays whereby students pick out, from the text, different forms of accommodation. There are 3 readings included in total with the lesson, for L.A., M.A. and H.A. students. The ppt. contains answers to the readings so that all students can have correct vocabulary in their books.

Activity 2: Students learn how to form comparisons and key words needed.
Activity 3: Students practice using comparisons - answers provided on ppt.
Activity 4: Speaking practice: two options - dialogue or photo practice (based on AQA photo question for speaking). Key words are provided for students as well as opportunity for peer assessment.
