Religion in a global context is the 5th topic which is part of the unit on Beliefs in Society. This is an interactive lesson, with opportunities for paired/group activities and exam practice. To help students further engage with the topic, there are contemporary videos and reading materials included.

Lesson objectives:
• Religion & development
• Religious fundamentalism
• Cultural defence
• Religion & the clash of civilisations

This lesson if delivered part of the wider scheme of work for Beliefs in Society, would follow on from L4.c) Religion renewal and choice, which is available as individual lessons or as a discounted bundle in the shop!
To continue the scheme of work, the next topic is L6. Organisation, movements and members which is also available in our shop.
