Lin-Manuel Miranda Listening Pack

This pack contains:

This pack is suitable for Year 8 or 9 pupils (12 -14 years).

Each sheet focuses on a different piece by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Pupils are required to listen to a piece of music on YouTube or Spotify and answer questions relating to the given music.

Pupils can access the music clip either by scanning the QR code on the sheet or following the link given.

Each sheet is marked out of 10 in total and encourages pupils to use level-appropriate technical terms. One sheet (Hamilton) includes an additional 5 mark ‘stretch and challenge’ question requiring a longer answer. This would be suitable for students approaching or taking GCSE Music (or equivalent).
