Make 50 - Number investigation

A number investigation suitable for a wide range of ages from more able Year 5s through to GCSE.

Using just the numbers 1,2 3 and 4, the 4 operations, factorials and indices, children have to make the totals from 1 to 50.

A power point quickly outlines the task and concept and there is a recording sheet for the children to use. Great as a group activity for the beginning / end of lessons and can be worked on over a number of days. Answer sheet provided for hints, should you need although there are more than one solution.
