Two interactive Maths Quizzes.
The ‘misconceptions quiz’ tries to identify pupils’ common maths misconceptions. Once complete, the Quiz can be printed out or saved in a common area for the teacher to analyse.
Ideal as a purposeful activity for Foundation maths GCSE pupils (or even lower ability Higher maths pupils). Can also identify general areas of misconception across a cohort.
The ‘symbols’ quiz is a general maths quiz on the knowledge of the meaning of a number of common maths symbols.
Ideal as a ‘Do Now’ but can also be used as a teacher led group activity to promote discussion and interest. Eg. The different words for ‘add’.
