Matrices

This lesson is suitable for the ‘AS,’ and the ‘A,’ level students. The lesson helps the students to understand that, 'matrices are used in mathematics to store mathematical information neatly and concisely.

The information is written down in a rectangular array of rows and columns of terms, which are identified or called as elements or alternatively entries , each one of them has its own precise position in the array.
