These resources were written by a Cambridge International Assessment Examiner, Consultant and Teacher Trainer. However, all these resources are useful for all examination boards.

This pack contains 7 files - a student friendly synopsis (aimed at IGCSE and A-level students). It also contains questions on meaning, structure, language and poet’s attitude. Moreover, the pack includes an AFL pie (an exploded, visual success criteria for teacher feedback and structured peer assessment), an example PEEAL paragraph for students to mark with the pie and notes on how to layout an effective response to poetry. There is also a sheet that helps students to write effective Explanations and Analysis of the quotations they select from the text.
