Miss Minto’s Musical Moment Number 34 – Hall of the Mountain King

https://youtu.be/lk75qDst8wE

Body Avlaia Group – In the Hall of the Body Percussion King

This body percussion group are using their rhythms to accompany a very well known tune:
In the Hall of the Mountain King by Edward Greig.

At the beginning, the body percussion patterns are tricky but manageable.

As the piece of music gets faster it becomes very difficult to keep track of which patterns the group are doing.

You can see how much the group are concentrating.

See if you can manage any of the patterns.

Now you can just enjoy the journey with this line rider version of
In the Hall of the Mountain King.

NB: During online learning I have been producing Miss Minto’s Musical Moments. These are freely available for use with pupils and are suitable for primary aged children. Some will appear on TES and some on the Facebook page for Notable Songs Ltd. Search using: “Miss Minto’s Musical Moments”. There are several dozen “Musical Moments”!
