This melody writing resource contains TEN music composition tasks with a student evaluation sheet for each composition task.

5. FOUR pages containing blank manuscript paper. Students can use these pages to notate their ideas or any melody writing examples you give them.
6. FIVE of the tasks are four measures/bars in length, and FIVE are 8 measures/bars.

Each task has a different set of requirements for the student to fulfill when composing their melody.

• Hand out compositions as individual tasks or use the Composition Portfolio title page and create a composition portfolio for each student.\
