Music Theory scavenger Hunts worksheets and PowerPoint grade 1

This pack includes pdf colouring sheets and a PowerPoint. The PowerPoint contains a mixture of scavenger hunts. There are hunts for note naming in both treble and bass clef, a sheet with hidden dynamics, a musical theory terms at grade 1 level. The student is encouraged to name the note shown and then find an object in the picture that starts with the same letter. These have been designed to encourage fun conversations around the the meaning of music theory terms and to consolidate note naming skills.

Also included is a pack of pdf sheets that includes note naming scavenger hunts in treble and bass clef covering two octaves, a dynamics hunt and theory terms hunts. The sheets have been designed so that they can also be coloured in by students either in the lesson or at home, thereby encouraging further consolidation of learning and recap of conversations had with the teacher in the lesson.
