The ‘Nursery Rhymes 1’ collection can be used as a stand-alone resource or as a continuation from the ‘Intermediate’ level from our shop. All songs use the C major scale notes.
You will get two PDF booklets:
- Ocarina notation and diagrams
- Piano notation
THE INSTRUMENT
This method is for the standard British 4-hole ocarina (the Oc).
FOR WHOM?
Intended for primary school students. Can be used in a secondary school setting at your discretion.
OCARINA NOTATIONS & DIAGRAMS
The formatting of the notation follows the ‘Beginner/Intermediate’ ocarina booklets from our shop, with standard notation and ocarina diagrams.
Most of the songs have ‘Intros’, which can be skipped if desired.
The songs have marked A (verse) and B (refrain) parts, making them ideal for studies of music arrangements.

PIANO NOTATION
Easy piano notation is provided for teachers or intermediate/advanced students, with the right-hand notation following the melody, and the left-hand providing an accompaniment. The piano notation also includes chord names.
NURSERY RHYMES FOR OTHER INSTRUMENTS
This song collection is in the D major scale. Other booklets with the same songs include Recorder (D), C-instruments (in C), Harmonica ©, Ukulele © and Guitar (G).
