“Bhangra Music”
This resource takes the pupils through all that they need to know about “Bhangra Music” in preparation for their Music GCSE. The Powerpoint contains all of the information that they need in preparation for their exam, and relevant listening tests/activites to complete too (all in the PowerPoint).
This resource comes with;
- Teaching Powerpoint that contains all of the information needed about Bhangra Music;
- Contextual information, Traditional Bhangra, Modern Bhangra, Instrumentation, Music Technology etc. - Four different listening papers/ acitivites (included in the powerpoint) with relevant audio tracks (all hyperlinked to Youtube, and in the notes box for backup too)
- Bhangra Dancing and Dhol Videos (embedded in Powerpoint, but also contained in a seperate .zip folder)
- Bhangra Keyword/ Features sheet (word doc).
The resource is mainly aimed at the OCR board, but there is a lot of relavent information for all of the other GCSE exam boards.
