Ofsted OUTSTANDING - Edexcel Music FUSIONS SOW - Full Lessons and Worksheets Pack

Through a range of listening, writing, composition and practical activities combined into each lesson, students will learn everything they need to know for the ‘fusions’ component of the Edexcel GCSE course.

Each of the five lessons can be taught as a 1-2 hour session, depending on how long you wish to stretch out the practical activities. For example, a practical activity looking at the concept of ‘Ostinato’ could just cover basic polyrhythms but could be extended to include syncopation, cross-rhythms and more!

With worksheets, homework tasks and a final assessment all included, you will not need to produce any additional resources for this topic, apart from ensuring students have access to the anthology scores.

All slides can be edited, and I would encourage any teacher to look carefully through the resources before teaching each lesson ensuring that any changes/differentiations unique to your class have been made.
