Past tense with Avoir Regular verbs

This lesson is on the past tense using the auxiliary Avoir with regular and irregular verbs.
The do it now task ( to complete in 5 mins when students entering the classroom) is a fill gap activity where students need to come up with the rule on how to form the past tense with Avoir based on the previous lesson ( Present tense and introduction of past tense ).
The stater activity is translation of verbs.
The main activity a whole class activity: 3 main players. Differentiated activity.
Weaker abilities: Player 1
Higher abilities: Player 3
Students need to come up with the sentences and take turns, player 3 at the end can snitch other players by creating a sentence in the past tense without using the vocab above. Reward for the winner.

Last activity is an assessment for learning before the plenary and homework provided.
