This resource is the 7th in a series of 14 resources to build pupils’ confidence in pronouncing the sounds of Spanish. The picture slides can be projected on the board to run through pronunciation & meaning first but these slides are actually designed as cards which will (when photocopied double-sided é cut up) have the phonic on one side é a corresponding word é picture on the other. Pupils should pronounce the phonic first é then incorporate it into their pronunciation of the word on the other side, recognising the meaning in English at the same time.
