Practice: Ir (to go) / and ir + a + infinitive (going to do something)

Part 1: Write the correct conjugation of IR for each subject by choosing from the word bank below.

Part 2: Tell where the following people are going. Complete each sentence with the correct conjugation of IR and choose a place from the word bank below or come up with your own. Choose a different place for each person. Then add 3-4 words to create an original sentence. (6 total)

*A template is provided for students to write their sentences.

Part 3: Ir + a + infinitive (-ar, -er, ir)

Tell what the following 10 people are going to do by conjugating the verb IR, add a, choose an infinitive (-ar, -er, -ir) from the word bank below and add 3-4 words to create an original sentence. Note: Use a different infinitive for each sentence.

*A template is provided for students to write their sentences.

A partial answer key with conjugations only is included for parts 1, 2, and 3. Student answers will vary for parts 2 and 3.

Pages 1 - 2 are the practice and pages 3-4 are the partial answer key.
