Practice worksheet imperfect tense Spanish

Practice: Imperfect tense matching, conjugations, and sentences (no collaboration / no on-line translators)

For each verb type, follow these guidelines:

1. Write the correct letter of the verb ending to match the subject.

2. Conjugate each verb for all 6 persons in the imperfect.

3. Write an original 8 word minimum sentence using each of the conjugated verb in the table. Note: clue words (todos los días etc) count as one word only. Post the word count at the end of every sentence.

Verbs included:

-AR: hablar, comprar, jugar

-ER: correr, leer

-IR: vivir, escribir

IRREGULAR: ser, ir, ver

Students will conjugate all 10 verbs for all 6 persons and write 10 original sentences with them.

Answer key is included for the matching and verb conjugations only. For the original sentences, student answers will vary.
