Present subjunctive partner activity

Directions

Students will work in pairs. One student will get set A (odd numbers) and the other set B (even numbers). Student A will say start a sentence and student B will choose a different subject each time and a different verb in the present subjunctive to complete the sentence and vice versa.

All sentences start with a different introductory verb (combination of desire, emotion, impersonal expressions, and doubt) (40 total)

On each set, students will be given a box to write down subjects as they use them in their sentences in order to avoid repetition.

Each student will do 20 sentences

Example:

Student A says: Yo quiero que

Student B says: Pedro hable mucho en la clase (possible response)
