Private & Public Limited Companies PowerPoints and Activities
2 PowerPoints each of which should last for an hours lesson.
With the Private Limited Company PowerPoint one of my slides has pictures of Ltds in my local area, but you could change this to your school's area to make it more relevant for your class.
I included a writing frame as differentiation to assist weaker students to write about PLCs.
The PLC table activity provides information on various PLCs which I printed onto A3 paper and placed on different tables around the room. Each student was given the blank table into which they could write information about the companies. (They don't have time to write everything - it's just to give them a little information). We then had a discussion about the similarities between the companies to point out the features of PLCs.
I've also included a list of keywords and their definitions.
