The following resource is useful when teaching ratio analysis to Business A-level students (but could be used with GCSE students). The 2 page worksheet tasks students with calculating and contrasting current ratio, acid test ratio, gross profit margin, operating profit margin and ROCE for two fictional businesses. Students then need to explain and analyse the figures with exam style questions that are scaffolded. This worksheet can be used in class or set as a homework assessment.
