Scale or chord maps blank keyboard diagrams

Great for instrumental students - especially piano and keyboard players or those who need some theory for KS3 music or GCSE.

SCALES
Write the title of the scale you are learning above one of the keyboard diagrams and then draw coloured dots in the notes you have used on one of the diagrams OR alterntively shade in the whole of each key used.

This gives you a visual way of revising and memorising scales, even away from the keyboard. Add more scales as you learn them. You could also - mark in the semitones with brackets , write in the finger numbers below or above (or above for RH, below for LH). For melodic minor scales, use two of the diagrams which are side by side across the whole page, to see the ascending and descending versions.

CHORDS
Draw coloured dots in the keys or shade the whole keys of the notes which belong to each chord you have learned. Useful for learning about major and minor chords for keyboard players or basic theory, for mapping arpeggios, diminished or dominant 7ths for piano exams, or for mapping out complex chords eg for A-level harmony or jazz harmony.
