SPELLING CHANGE PRETERIT PRACTICE (car, gar, zar verbs)

Complete each table with the missing conjugations of the preterit tense. Then, choose any 3 verbs and write 3 original sentences in the preterit tense with the following guidelines:

1. Use a different subject (person) in every sentence.

2. 8 words minimum per sentence. Clue words (ayer, anoche etc) count as one word only.

3. Post the word count at the end of every sentence.

Students will conjugate 12 verbs total and write 9 sentences.

Verbs included:

-CAR: buscar, tocar, practicar, chocar

-GAR: jugar, pagar, llegar, apagar

-ZAR: empezar, comenzar, lanzar, almorzar
