I prepared this resource for my Year 12 class who are studying Unit 3: Personal and Business Finance of the BTEC National Level 3 in Business.
However, you could use this for GCSE level, or as an introduction to the topic for A Level students.

There is sufficient content for a double lesson here.

If you refer to the document as a Balance Sheet, you can replace the term by using the ‘Replace’ facility (on the right of the PowerPoint or Word ‘Home’ page to find all of the instances and replace them automatically.

Obviously I cannot take any credit for writing the 'What are Statements of Financial Position All About?" workbook - I just changed the term ‘Balance Sheet’ to ‘Statement of Financial Position’. However, I used it in my lesson so I have included it here too.
