Stress- Strain Curve - Fold Out Revision Sheet

This is a quick and effective resource for creating a revision guide for low carbon steel stress strain curves and associated key words and phrases. Simply print on to A3 (double sided) and cut along the lines between each physical property. Fold the tabs over so they cover the boxes.

Pupils are give an amount of time (I suggest five minutes per box) to write a definition and key information about each key phrase. There is also room on the back for pupils to draw an example of a stress-strain curve and label it. In an hour pupils will have a completed revision guide.

Pupils can then cover up the definitions and test themselves, before checking to see if they were correct.
