The imperfect tense

Give these worksheets to a pair/group of students (laminated).

This activity revises/teaches subject pronouns in Spanish, as well as the endings for the imperfect tense in AR, ER and IR.

Students can challenge each other to write verbs in the imperfect, using the correct pronoun and ending.

You will need to give them a selection of verbs to conjugate as a visual reference.

This will increase student confidence with the imperfect. Ideal after you have explained when and how the imperfect is used and formed.
