An activity for young learners to practice animals, basic adjectives and verbs.
Originally a practice activity based on the YLE Movers ESL curriculum. Best suited for older children (6-11) studying ESL/EAL.
Learners have to think of an animal that fits the description, for example an animal that can fly or that lives on a farm. The teacher elicits responses and shows examples in the form of images that appear on the slides. The examples chosen reflect the vocabulary in Cambridge YLE Movers.
The descriptions used are designed to recycle basic adjectives and verbs.
