Turkey Maths One to One Correspondence

Students will practice one to one correspondence with these fun turkey cards. This is perfect for Thanksgiving stations or any autumn themed station! Choose from colourful or black and white options. Students will touch real objects as they count which allows children to learn one to one correspondence; this means they will learn that one is always one, two is always two, three is always three, etc. For an extension, you can place two cards in the maths station which allows children to add two numbers using real objects as they begin to learn simple addition using real objects. Laminate and cut out the cards. Place one or two turkey cards and a Create it! mat in your maths station. The turkey cards have both numbers and number words on them. This is a fun, play based way to learn one to one correspondence, counting, and even simple addition!
