Volume of a Prism GCSE Maths Poster
Finding the Volume of a Prism is a topic that is very easy to overcomplicate, unnecessarily so. This poster highlights the method of finding the area of the cross-section, and then multiplying by the length.
There are examples and non-examples of what a prism ‘is/is not’ to help students see the difference visually between the two.
The poster is striking, highly visual, and is great as a classroom display, as a revision card, or simply as an aide memoir.
There are two completed worked examples on the bottom half of the poster. The first example is working out the volume of a cylinder, and the second example is working out the volume of a triangular prism.
Also available in my bundle ‘GCSE Maths Poster Bundle 1’ with four other fantastic posters for a total of just £5
