Sine Rule/Cosine Rule/Pythagoras/SohCahToa? GCSE Maths Poster
That is the question.
Deciding whether you need to use the Sine Rule/Cosine Rule/Pythagoras or SohCahToa when faced with a triangle in a GCSE exam is a critical skill to practise.
Students often can’t discriminate which topic to use when. In fact, there is quite a procedural way to work out which method is needed to solve each problem.
This poster outlines the reasons why you would use one topic over another.
The poster is striking, highly visual, and is ideal as a classroom poster, display, revision card, or simply as an aide memoir.
Students find this procedure extremely helpful and the poster supports them with this tremendously.

Nth Term of Quadratic Sequences GCSE Maths poster
Finding the Nth term of a quadratic sequence is a subject students find needlessly difficult.
This method, deriving 2a from the second difference, 3a + b from the first difference, and a + b + c for the first term is a foolproof method for students to get full marks in any exam question on this topic.
The poster is highly visual, striking, and helps students to understand how to work out the nth term of any given quadratic sequence.
As well as for display within a classroom, the poster can be printed to act as revision cards or as an aide memoir for students.
Also available in my bundle ‘GCSE Maths Poster Bundle 1’ with four other fantastic posters for a total of just £5
The PDF is suitable to be printed up to A1 in size with a high resolution.
Volume of a Prism GCSE Maths Poster
Finding the Volume of a Prism is a topic that is very easy to overcomplicate, unnecessarily so. This poster highlights the method of finding the area of the cross-section, and then multiplying by the length.
There are examples and non-examples of what a prism ‘is/is not’ to help students see the difference visually between the two.
The poster is striking, highly visual, and is great as a classroom display, as a revision card, or simply as an aide memoir.
There are two completed worked examples on the bottom half of the poster. The first example is working out the volume of a cylinder, and the second example is working out the volume of a triangular prism.
Also available in my bundle ‘GCSE Maths Poster Bundle 1’ with four other fantastic posters for a total of just £5

Fractional Powers GCSE Maths Poster
Fractional powers and indices is a topic that students often find difficult. This poster simplifies what students should do when given a fractional power question through the diagram of ‘Flower Power’.
The Flower represents the ‘Power’ and the Roots represent the ‘roots’ of the question.
The diagram helps students to remember how to do these questions immensely. The poster is striking, highly visual, and makes it easier for students to remember, hence improving their recall in an exam.
