A series of activities to investigate the uses of key sites in South Wales during WW2 using carefully chosen aerial photos. Images of 1940’s locations and modern day equivalents are included. The children should look carefully for similar evidence and try to match the images. Aimed at KS2/3, the pupils will be encouraged to observe, discuss and participate in further research about the locations. This is a tried and tested classroom resource. Smaller images are provided for book work.
