Spanish A'Level Year 2 Unit 3 La Convivencia

Set of 4 ppts to aid the teaching and learning of the AQA A'Level Spanish Y13 Theme 3 Multiculturalism in Hispanic Society, Unit Unit 3 "La Convivencia". The different ppts explore how Islamism, Christianism and Judeism cohabited in the Iberian peninsula from the 8th to the 15th centuries, and how that peaceful cohabitation came to an end with the arrival of Los Reyes catolicos. Secondly we learn about the integration of migrant children in Spanish schools. We also learn about the 2 main fights for independentism in Spain, "el separatismo vasco and ETA" and "el nacionalismo catalan and el referendum". Finally we look at what the Spanish Constitution says about the relation between the State and the different religions, as well as the initiative "Rezo Interreligioso", which promotes religious integration.
