Year 4 Science - Teeth

This resource is lesson 1 of 5, from spring term 1. It is all about the different teeth we have and what their functions are. The idea of this lesson was a fun introduction to teeth by participating in a practical experiment to better understand the L.O.
You will need 4/5 different types of food, these are on the slides already, however you can change the foods you use. For example; the children would eat a piece of carrot and then in their table say which teeth they think they have used to chew it. For more indepth learning children can describe why they think they have used those teeth - what their function is.
