I'm sorry but the extension won&'t come out on this document, but all you need to do is draw spots on the nets and draw corresponding spots on the correct side of the cube. The base square also needs colouring.

Match up the isometric drawing to the net and calculate the surface area. After four examples can you draw the nets from the cuboids left and calculate the surface area for each. Can we speed up the process.

the powerpoints nets do not match the 3D shapes, everything is out of alignment. There are no cubes with 1.5 squares as a side length....

One activity requires students to determine which nets make a cube, and the other requires them to try and visualise the net of different 3D shapes before drawing them. The Nets PPT looks at constructing nets accurately.
