I created this resource for GCSE Media Studies, for exam practice. But can be used at any level. It is a sheet to help student evaluate a scene in a film, using the theory of mise-en-scene. The sheet itself involves students choosing a scene from a film and evaluate it. Included in the PDF is an example that I have done using the film 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' as an example.
Students should be able to recall and understand key media principles and knowledge of what key terms mean, like 'mise-en-scene'. This sheet is designed to allow students to do exactly this, allowing students to practice this. It is advised that this could be used as a homework sheet or lesson activity to work alongside a lesson on this topic.
It is suggested that this sheet could be printed in A3 to allow students to write a more in-depth in evaluation. Could also be printed back-to-back to give students an example to refer to if unsure or stuck.

I created these resources during the AQA GCSE Media Studies 2016 Exam Period for Science Fiction. The are useful for future MS students to revise from or to use as part of an assessment or in general just revise the Science Fiction genre.
Included Resources:
* A GCSE Media Studies: Science Fiction Workbook. - This has revision notes, information and little tasks for students to complete. It can be printed into a booklet so students can split up their revision or as you study the topics each week.
* A 2016: Science Pre-Release Worksheet. - This is on PowerPoint (Two Slides), I advise that you print it out in A3 so that I it is easier for students to read and understand. [THE DATES ON THS RESOURCES WERE FOR THE 2016 EXAM - CHANGE THEM IF YOU ARE USING THEM WITH YOUR STUDENTS - TO AVIOD CONFUSION!]
These resources were created for the 2016 AQA GCSE Media Studies Exam - But can adapted for the use of other exam boards, other exams in the future and other subjects.
