Netflix Science Display
A display which can take up a double display board; great to use on the corridor to show students shows that they can watch on UK Netflix which link to the science curriculum.

In the photo example, I printed some in A3 and some A4.
The Atom - Science/Chemistry Display
A classroom display featuring the structure of an atom and the energy levels, which fills a small display board.
All labels, atoms and the heading are included.
Please note that all black lines were drawn with a board pen, so the black circles (energy levels) and arrows are not included. Instructions on the dimensions of each circle are included in the files.
Netflix: "Human: The World Within" (Episode 3) Worksheet - Fuelling the Body
GREAT FOR COVER LESSONS OR HOMEWORK
This resource contains a worksheet (and answer sheet, with answer timings in the documentary) for pupils to complete as they watch episode 3 of the 2021 Netflix documentary series “Human: The World Within” - (52-minutes).
This episode is called “Fuel” and is about where we get glucose from, how we digest and absorb glucose and the consequences of an unhealthy diet.
This fits in nicely with the B3 and B9 unit of AQA GCSE Biology, as is discusses enzymes, the structure of the digestive system and also how we use the products of digestion to supply energy to the body.
The worksheet contains 15 short-answer questions throughout the documentary to keep students engaged and 1 longer reflection question at the end.

This resource contains a worksheet (and answer sheet, with answer timings in the documentary) for pupils to complete as they watch episode 2of the 2021 Netflix documentary series “Human: The World Within” - (52-minutes).
This episode is called “Pulse” and is about the structure and function of the circulatory system.
This fits in nicely with the B4 unit of AQA GCSE Biology, as is discusses the heart, blood, blood vessels and problems with the heart such as coronary heart disease/heart attacks.
The worksheet contains 14 short-answer questions throughout the documentary to keep students engaged and 1 longer reflection question at the end.
(Please note: I used the English (UK) spelling for the term haemoglobin within the answers)

This episode is called “React” and is about the structure and function of the human nervous system.
This fits in nicely with the B10 unit of AQA GCSE Biology, as is discusses the structure of the nervous system and the eye.
The worksheet contains 14 short-answer questions throughout the documentary to keep students engaged and 1 longer reflection question at the end.

This resource contains a worksheet (and answer sheet, with answer timings in the documentary) for pupils to complete as they watch the 2014 Netflix documentary “Cowspiracy” - (90-minutes).
The worksheet includes 20 short-answer questions and 4 longer questions (only a few sentences required) which are answered throughout the documentary, to keep students engaged.

This resource contains a worksheet (and answer sheet, with answer timings in the documentary) for pupils to complete as they watch the 2021 Netflix documentary “Seaspiracy” - (89-minutes).
This fits in nicely with the B18 unit of AQA GCSE Biology, as it discusses sustainable fishing and food security.
The worksheet is split into two parts so that you can watch half the documentary in one lesson, and half the next. It includes 30 short-answer questions throughout the documentary to keep students engaged.
WARNING: There’s a scene which some students may find upsetting (shows the killing of whales) from 1:13:00-1:20:00.

HA worksheet includes 16 short answer questions, plus an activity where they must write x5 of their own questions and answers based upon the video.
LA worksheet includes 22 short answer questions.
A copy of each worksheet it also included to use if you’re using this as a remote learning lesson during lockdown, with space indicated to students where they should write their answer.

"David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet" Resources
Netflix has released a 1 hour 17 minute (without credits) documentary which focuses on how Sir David Attenborough has witness the planet changing over his life time - some important links are made to key concepts within Ecology unit of the AQA GCSE Biology course.
Attached is a worksheet with questions on for pupils to answer throughout the documentary and a task to summarise their feelings at the end. In addition, I have added the PowerPoint i’ll be using during this double lesson and a follow up task on how pupils can reduce their carbon footprint.
