Two PowerPoint slides (one for Paper 1, one for Paper 2) which we printed as revision ‘mats’ in A3 and placed around rooms where students congregated before the exams. It gives them final reminders on how to approach each question, and can be easily tailored to suit your own teaching - e.g. changing timings or including your own approaches to certain questions.
These could also be used as revision sheets, posters or reminders to be used with mock exams.
AQA style GCSE English Literature 2 exam papers on Blood Brothers, Power & Conflict and Unseen Poetry, based on what I anticipate might come up this year - all past extracts/poems are excluded.
The unseen poems are obviously unpredictable, but this pack includes six pairs of poems that have not been included in AQA exams in the past: each has a part (i) task on the first unseen poem, which is then thematically linked to the part (ii) poem for the 8-mark comparison task.
I have no inside knowledge in terms of what will be on the exams - this is done by considering aspects such as typical extract length, question styles etc. that AQA use and eliminating anything that has already appeared on their published SAMS and past papers.
Extremely useful if you want full sets of English Literature exam papers that don’t cover past content that clearly won’t come up again!

A blank slide to create differentiated homework tasks. The students can unlock 'levels' by completing homework tasks and could choose a Mario character or create one of their own to create some competition.
This SoW is ready to go. Decorated and video clips included complete with challenge activities.
This covers the play 'Romeo and Juliet'. The SoW is based on watching the Baz Luhrmann version of the play and then extracts of key scenes to analyse and base creative writing on.
It focuses on conflict, male aggression, character development and how these things link to contextual information.
There are a couple of writing tasks including describing the scene at the Capulet's masquerade, challenging Romeo to a duel as Tybalt, and a persuasive speech as to who is to blame for Mercutio's death.
