There are lots of opportunities within everyday routines where number and SSM skills can be practised. By using this approach it ensures that the children are regularly recapping these skills. The impact of including number and SSM teaching points in everyday routines means that children can easily make accelerated progress and the impact on the children’s confidence is huge.
