This booklet is designed for students (and let’s face it SLT/OFSTED) to track their progress in working towards their performance coursework (both solo and ensemble). It includes pages on target grade achievement, weekly rehearsal timetable tracking and reflection, a half-way through the project reflection and marking space, and an end of project assessment. It can be adapted for any area of study and includes a space for you to customise key points students need to focus on. This can be easily adapted for other exam boards too. This resource was created with the new Edexcel GCSE music specification in mind, but could be applied to other exam boards or composition projects that look to strengthen the application of all musical elements. I have included by estimated interpretation of what higher graded pieces of music will include. As you (and the music education community know), there is no telling what lies around the corner!
