An A3 sheet summarising the medicine topic for Edexcel 9-1.

This booklet details each question on the 3 Edexcel GCSE papers including question type, sentence starters, example questions and timings. It includes Medicine, Germany, Anglo-Saxon and Norman England and The American West but could easily be adapted for other units.

This is a card sort covering all of the major events in the Anglo-Saxon and Norman England topic, from the Edexcel specification. Students can sort the cards into chronological order, organise them by topic or select cards relevant for particular questions. There are 34 cards in the set. This is a great activity for revision.

My version of a great idea seen on twitter. A generic pack of extension tasks for key stage 3 students. I have laminated, cut and bundled them together with a treasury tag. I keep them at the front of my room in a folder stapled to the wall so students can help themselves.

This resource can be laminated and stuck onto desktops to guide students to write better answers.

These cards are great for introducing the types of sources that Historians use. Can be used with all year groups and topics. Especially useful for Edexcel students studying Medicine, key topic 5. There are 32 cards in the pack.

These are the first 5 lessons, including power points and all resources needed, of a unit entitled ‘Historical Whodunnit’. These lessons are about the assassination of JFK and can be taught as part of the wider unit or as a stand alone enquiry. The unit was designed for year 8 students.

This is a complete revision lesson for Edexcel’s American west topic including 50 card, card game and power point. This worked really well with my year 11’s, they loved link snap!

These can be laminated, cut out and held together with a treasury tag. They give students guidance on how to do generic Humanities activities such as write a letter or a newspaper article. Great to support key stage 3 students.
