This whole school assembly explores St. Valentine’s Day: what it is, the story behind it and how technology supports it. This simple and clear assembly ends with ideas for a continuation of Valentine’s Day back in the classroom with both KS1 and KS2 computing lesson ideas and links to resources.
This is an assembly/ lesson discussing the past and present logos of the world cup. It starts by looking at previous world cup statistics and then moves on to observe the features of the logos and how they were created using vector drawing. It covers subjects including computing, art, and history. We are also running this as part of a competition, in order to encourage IT at home and where 4 children have the chance to win a Wacom drawing tablet!
