Great descriptive/creative writing example paragraph - describing the bustle and atmosphere of a busy city street. Can be used to introduce a descriptive writing activity for pupils. Also included are notes re: which features to include to make writing more expressive. Key features include: examples of creative language choices/vocabulary in order to create mood/atmosphere/setting. Illustrates expaned noun phrases/adverbials/varied sentence structures.
